Be the Light!

The best gift you can give another person is the Word of God!

God gave each of us the only gift we truly ever need…everlasting life through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

The world is troubled…full of divisiveness, anger, and spite. Even I admit that through the years, I have stopped donating to people on street corners because it has become so pervasive and sometimes aggressive.

In a world full of darkness, what can you do to be the light?

That is why #FridayFavors was born. It gives us an opportunity to be a light unto others in a dark world.

This week, I left Scripture cards on the windows of parked cars. I pray that the scripture I leave touches a certain place the recipient needs during that moment of their life. And even if they through it to the ground, I believe that it will find its way to the hands and heart of the right person.

Is it worth it? How much does it cost? About the same price as a piece of gum and a few seconds of my time.

That’s the cost to spread the Word of God, with the possibility of actually changing someone’s life in the best way possible. How could I not?
